Timeline to construct a kiosk.

Every kiosk client is different-- they have different needs, wants, requirements, or specifications for their retail space. If you’re ready to construct a kiosk, Palmer Retail Solutions has a timeline to help you through the process from design through installation.

Kiosk Design
24 hours - 2 weeks

The length of time required for design depends on how much homework you do ahead of time. If you know the exact specifications required for your kiosk from dimensions to storage space to electrical consumption, design will be a piece of cake. The more information you supply at the start, the more efficient we can be in the design process.

Mall Management Approval
1 week - 4 weeks

The approval process depends entirely on the mall management company and/or city especially if special permits are required. While we would love to help you expedite their process, this portion of the process has to be handled by you. One thing we can suggest is to avoid applying for approval during peak times, such as November or December, just before the holidays or possibly spring when higher numbers of large construction permits are also being pulled.

Kiosk Construction
4 weeks - 6 weeks

Engineering typically takes up to one week, and includes an evaluation of your lease space's location and other design considerations. The actual construction process from scratch generally takes another three to four weeks.

Kiosk Instillation
1 night

The amount of hours may vary due to kiosk complexity and wiring. Sometimes our time saving modular wiring system is rejected by a particular mall or city ordinance, in which case an electrician has to wire the kiosk simultaneously on site the same night as the installation. These more involved installations can takeall night.
